We’ve searched for the best beginner RTR (ready-to-run) RC Drift car and one stood out above the rest.

The Max Speed Technology (MST) RMX RTR is by far one of the funnest purchases I’ve ever made. If you’re looking to drift without breaking the bank or are looking for a sweet gift, you need to check this RC Drift car out.

What I like about MST ready to run kit, is that it’s truly read to run. MST also makes chassis kits which doesn’t include an RC car body, remote control, or battery. Every MST RC Drift chassis is ran through a full “drift” test which makes sure the RC drift car is properly aligned and tuned when you first start it up.

I purchased my RMX RTR 2.0 from a local hobby shop and the only other items I had to purchase were batteries for the remote along with a rechargeable battery for the RC drift car.

If you’re new to RC racing, then I’d recommend the ready-to-run version. One other consideration is the type of surface you’ll be drifting on. The tires that come with the MST are NOT made to drift on concrete or asphalt. You’ll want to be drifting on a solid/polished type floor. Another option is to drift on a thin polyester indoor/outdoor rug which can be thrown over rough surfaces. Or you could 3d print some drift tires out of PLA. Then you can shred all you want on concrete.
